460 watts seems small.. i would recommend 650 watts for phenom II X4 dragon set up or 700 watts. 1000 seems like overkill. Either you run sli or crossfire or you don’t.

Its better to get 1333Mhz, since its getting cheaper or unless if you want to save money and get 1066Mhz and try to overclock it yourself. But I suggest 1333Mhz instead.

i want to buy that processor + new video cards, and need new motherboard to suuport it but i was just going to get ddr2 1066mhz ram or is ddr3 1333mhz that much better? i heard you don’t need it

Whats the difference between a standard cooling fan for a CPU to a thermal cooling system?
January 30th, 2010 at 9:05 pm
well i read that DDR3 controller on phenoms II can support up to 1333 and only 1600 if u overclock your core
January 30th, 2010 at 9:20 pm
It can support 1600Mhz and that is the maximum, for now.
January 30th, 2010 at 9:36 pm
can 955 use 1600 memory or only max 1333 mhz>?

No, installing the heatsink went without a breeze. The Noctua comes with both LGA 775 and an AMD bracket.

hei,
did you have any trouble installing Noctua NH-U12P on GA-MA790FXT-UD5P
i have same mobo with ram that is rather high because it has cooling
and UD5P has its ram slots damn close to CPU
+ when searching cpu cooling to that board, they always came with intel brackets but with not amd.what gives?

When I had my 955 my idle temps were at least somewhere in the low 30′s and 40 on load, but I didn’t really full test it.
